Scripture Verse Of The Week ‘Galatians 5 Verse 1’

galatians

Galatians 5 verse 1: “Christ has liberated us into freedom, Therefore stand firm and don’t submit again to the yoke of slavery”.

Christ came to set us free. Resurrection is not only what happened to Jesus. It has happened to all who accept Him. sure we will have the completeness resurrection life after death, but we have resurrection life the moment of our repentance to Him and acknowledgement of Him.

Believers in Christ not only will be raised from the dead, but we are already raised from the dead, so that we can experience the Power of God that enables us to walk in newness of life.

John 8 verse 32: “You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free”.

Galatians 2 verse 21: “I do not set aside the Grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law then Christ died for nothing”.

Same verse from the Message Bible: “Is it not clear to you that to go back in that old rule-keeping, peer-pleasing religion would be an abandonment of everything personal and free in my relationship with God? i refuse to do that, to repudiate God’s Grace. If a living relationship with God comes by rule keeping, then Christ died unnecessarily”.

Christ and Christ alone has given us this new freedom, freedom in which we have relationship with Him. Galatians 5 verse 13 to 15: Message Bible

“It is absolutely clear that God has called you to a free life. Just make sure that you don’t use this freedom as an excuse to do whatever you want to do and destroy your freedom. Rather, use your freedom to serve one another in love; that’s how freedom grows. For everything we know about God’s Word is summed up in a single sentence; Love others as you love yourself. That’s an act of true freedom. If you bite and ravage each other, watch out— in no time at all you will be annihilating each other, and where will your precious freedom be then”.

Set free from the bondage of sin, to grow in Freedom and Grace, to be Kingdom people, where we have an Awesome King, Who paid the price for our freedom.

God Bless.
