BE OF INTEGRITY
A verse in Isaiah of Chapter 46 caught my attention like a hammer. It says: Turn to me and be saved, all you ends of the earth, for I am God and there is no other. By myself I have sworn, my mouth has uttered ‘in all INTEGRITY’ a word that will not be revoked. (VERSE 22/23)……
That one word stirred my heart and spirit and the command that this word will not be revoked. This wonderful word has been left to dwell unused and seems to be thrown to the bottom of today’s moral language. Yet it is a word of power, of truth, of justice and includes righteousness. God says in ALL integrity and not revoked. So what has happened to integrity in life today? How many times in daily events is integrity shoved aside and quietly ignored or the meaning of truth altered? It is a subtle speech misinterpretation to often change the truth, just a little bit, but if God himself uttered in sworn integrity in all things, are we not betraying his decree to us?
For myself, I have a personal attitude of integrity in what I say, what I do and as I show it to others. I try to be of integrity even if it hurts, even if I am avoided by others and even at a cost to me of rejection. As God spoke of integrity and if I honor and respect his word I will believe that this is what he wants from me in obedience and with love.
SO BE ALIVE WITH INTEGRITY IN Jesus and revoke it not.
Be Blessed
