Message From Revelation ‘Awesome Promises’

reve

Revelation is a book in the Bible many find hard to understand, and for some reason stay away from.
Revelation could be called the climax of our faith. Revelation 21 verse 1:The Apostle John wrote:

“Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away and the sea existed no longer.”

Revelation like all the Bible is to help us grow, be encouraged in our faith, not many would say it is designed to excite, but it should. Revelation is full of excitement, it is not a scary book, it is the ultimate Revelation of Our Lord, Our Redeemer and Our Friend.

Touchy feely opinions of heaven have been cast aside, the picture that is of clouds harps and angels.heaven

The vision in Revelation 21 verse 1; opens with not only a new earth, but a new heaven. The Apostle John is describing a whole new existence in the Presence of God. The interesting point is, the fact the sea no longer exists is a strange image. One interpretation, could be that the dragon came from the sea. Earlier views about the sea by past civilizations viewed the sea as a,place of danger and death. The sea also represented separation.

New heaven and new earth, and from verse 3, God is now living among His people. Any separation is gone. Verse 4:

“He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, Death will not exist no longer; grief, crying and pain will exist no longer, because the previous things have passed away.”

The excitement to be realized here: All of the misery that the children of God {who we are when we come through Repentance into Appreciation} had to endure on their way to heaven will be wiped away. God will restore every believer.

Revelation is the climax of our living hope. 1 John 3 verse 3: States;

“And everyone who has this hope in Him, purifies himself {herself} just as He is pure.”

A believer’s life will always be challenging, but the Promise of Our Awesome Creator God, are too wonderful and exciting, to let the challenges in our journey to Glory in His Eternal presence, harm us.

God Bless.
