Repentance And Appreciation

One of the hardest words for a lot of people to say is ‘sorry’, followed by the word ‘thanks’. Yet Repentance and Appreciation, are big words in the Kingdom of God.

We need to say sorry {repent}, to enter into the Kingdom and all it fullness, and once there we should be full of appreciation all the time.

Psalm 100 verse 4:{Amplified Bible}

“Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and with thanks offering, and into His courts with praise! Be thankful and say so to Him, bless and affectionately praise His Name.”

Palm 100 is one of the shortest and expressive passages in the Bible. There are no negatives in this Psalm, no sorrow, no warnings, no problems. The Psalm is about being thankful and joyous before The Lord. It is just shouting and singing and knowing and being thankful.

Verse : starts: “Make a joyful noise to the Lord.”

Have we ever tried to be happy, when we are not appreciative and thankful, it is quite hard, but we have so much to be appreciative and thankful about.

Verse 2: {Amplified Bible}: “Serve The Lord with gladness! Come before His presence with singing.”

We have been brought with a Price, Christ Jesus came down from His Throne, emptied Himself of His divine Glory and died on a cross for our sin, and rose again to His Throne, so all {Whosoever} who believed, could come into His Kingdom. That is why it is telling us to come into His presence with gladness, He made away for us to come. True repentance will bring great appreciation.

Verse 3: {Amplified bible}:  “Know–perceive, recognize and understand with approval– that The Lord is God! It is He who has made us, not we ourselves [and we are His]! We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.”

Why Repentance and appreciation should always be in our lives, To Know, To perceive, To recognize and To Understand how great and awesome our God is.

Verse 4: {Amplified Bible}: “For The Lord is good; His mercy and loving-kindness are everlasting; His faithfulness and truth endure to all generation.”

Repentance and appreciation to Our wonderful Lord, Redeemer and Friend, whose mercy and loving-kindness will be with us, forever. Let all be more honest before Him as we enter His gates and His courts with thanksgiving and praise.

God bless.
