If this is your day for rest, you still need encouragement. Take encouragement God is not far from us, but we need to accept Him, and ask Him to be the biggest part of our lives. Then He promises that He will never leave us or forsake us.

“He gave His life to free us from every kind of sin, to cleanse us, and to make us His very own people, totally committed to doing what is right”. {New Living Translation}

The Power of Grace. Grace is the unmerited favor and blessing of God upon us.

Grace is also described as God’s Merciful favor at Christ’s expense.

How do we receive this Grace, by repentance of our wrong-doings things that God calls sin, and Acceptance of Christ Jesus as Our Lord, Our Redeemer, Our Savior and Our Friend.

Sometimes people might say God could not possibly forgive me of ‘that’. Well! We can see here in this verse, He says ,’Free us from every kind of sin’.

‘To cleanse us, and make us His very own people’. Wash us clean before Him. and He will remember the sin no more.

When we become ‘Free’ from a particular ‘Sin’, that always seemed to hold back, we are not only free of it, but cleanse from it.

This is the Freedom and the Power of Grace. Free not to be bound by the bondage of sins in the past. Unfortunately our freedom still allows us to sin, but we now have a comforter ‘The Holy Spirit’ to help us in our times of weakness.

The nest step this scripture leads to is that after we have been Freed, and Cleansed, we become His People to do totally what is Right.

The Power Of Grace, gives us freedom from Sin, Cleansing from the past, a new future as His Kingdom People, to live in His Righteousness.
