Faith In Action ‘Involves Trust’

trust

What makes you afraid? Afraid of the dark? But The Lord is our light.

Afraid of danger? The Lord is also our salvation.

Afraid of failing? The Lord is also our strength.

Afraid of the future? The Lord has plans, to give us hope and a future.

Faith and Trust: Our faith must involve trust in The Lord and all He has done for us. Isaiah 40 verse 31:

“But those who Trust in The Lord will renew their strength; they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not faint”.

Faith and Trust: Our faith must involve trust in The Lord and all He has done for us. 2 Corinthians 12 verse 9:

“My Grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness“.

Faith and Trust: Our faith must involves trust in The Lord and all He has done for us: Examples from Psalm 23:

“The Lord is My Shepherd; there is nothing I lack.

He lets me lie down in green pastures.

He leads me beside quiet waters.

He renews my life.

Perhaps what makes us afraid, is that we look inward to our own abilities to get us by, but by Faith, we ask Him to be Lord of our lives {The Lord is My Shepherd}, and by trust we believe, He has imparted His strength to us, and He has imparted us with every we need through His grace, and That grace is sufficient for any weakness in our lives.

Faith is an active word, that relies completely on trust in Him, and He has told us He will never leave us or forsake us.

Knowing Our Lord, and Our Friend more, requires a regular habit, of reading and studying His Word {The Bible}, in order for His Word, to become life to us, and not just an intellectual message.

He should be the first source of help in time of need.

God Bless.

OFJ.
