1 Corinthians 6 verse 19: “Do you not know that your body is a sanctuary of the Holy Spirit who is in you, Whom you have from God? You are not your own”.
The Spirit Of God , The Holy Spirit, comes to reside, in all those who put there trust and hope, in Our Lord, Our Redeemer and Friend.
In Exodus 40 verse 34: “The cloud covered the tent of meeting and The Glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle”.
In the New Testament, we are a tabernacle or sanctuary, in which The Holy Spirit will, come and live, through repentance,of all the things that God calls wrong doings {sin}, not just things, that we call wrong-doings. God created us in His image, and the image was tarnished by sin {things that God said were no good for our lives}, we were all born in sin, The choice is ours individually, to repent of these wrong-doings we were not created to do.
We were created to trust Our Creator, and it was lack of trust, and lack of understanding of God’s wonderful purposes for our lives, that caused sin.
God is a Righteous God, and through lack of trust and understanding, that The Creator knows the best for His Creation, caused all creation to fall short of His Righteousness, and Glory. Romans 3 verse 23:
““For all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God”.
God is a God of Mercy, Justice and Grace, and made away for us to have our relationship, to be restored. John 3 verse 16:
Any ‘whosoever’ can accept, if we accept, and ask forgiveness for, any wrong-doing {that He calls wrong-doing, and not some new-age opinion of wrong-doing}.
Christ Jesus, paid the price fro God Justness, by dying in our place, Acceptance of what Christ Jesus did on the cross, to pay that price, leads to us receiving God’s Grace, and Restoration to right-standing with Him.
This is where The Spirit of God, comes to reside in our lives, because we now have right standing with God.
Our life becomes a Tabernacle for God Spirit to reside, where He comes to help, to bring us understanding of God’s purposes for our lives.
People don’t like the word sin {wrong-doing against God}, because it brings conviction, but to understand, the difference that can come to our lives, if we ask for forgiveness.
Romans 8 verse 1 and 2: V1: “Therefore, no condemnation now exists for those in Christ Jesus”. V2: “ Because the Spirit’s law of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death”.
Our Body, may, die, but we have eternal life, in and with The God that created us.
God Bless.

1 Corinthians 6:19 has convicted me to improve my food plan, establish a regular exercise program, and better balance my sleep schedule. God wants us to take care of our bodies as temples and it’s time I take this more seriously.
