Sunday Encouragement

encouragement

If this is your day for rest, like us all you still need encouragement. Be encouraged that God loves you and has plans for your life, that far out weigh any plans we have for ourselves. He would love us to walk in fellowship with Him, now and in eternity. The choice for this is ours, and all we need to do is to ask for forgiveness from the wrong-doings, that separate us from really knowing Him, and walking in fellowship with Him.

Colossians 3 verse 17

“And what ever you do, in word or in deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.”

Could be referred to as a high calling. WHATEVER {everything} we do, we should do as though Our Lord and Our Friend Himself were doing it.

This a boots and all thing, everything we do should be done in the name of The Lord, that way we get to use His Strength.

That is when all things becomes possible, nothing is possible out of self effort that will mean anything in eternity, but what we do through His Name and with His strength will build lives for eternity.

We are to take Him with us wherever we go. We are ambassadors of His Kingdom in this world. What could be better than using the resources and the name of our King.

If we were to read on to Colossians 3 verse 23. “Whatever you do, do it enthusiastically, as something done for the Lord and not for men.”

From which we can refer to, 1 Peter 2 verse 12 “Conduct yourselves honorably among the Gentiles, so that in a case where they speak against you as those who do evil, they may, by observing your good works, glorify God in a day of visitation.”

What a tremendous privilege that whatever we do Our Father in heaven will be glorified.

Never get tied of doing good Whatever it might be.

Be Blessed today and everyday,

From your friends at mylordmyfriend.com.
