We are not perfect of ourselves, we are perfect In Him, because He is perfect.

Matthew 5 verse 48:{Amplified Bible}: “You therefore, must be perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect [that is, Grow into complete maturity of godliness in mind and character, having reached the proper height of virtue and integrity].”

Growing in His perfection, but humbly accepting we are only sinners saved by Grace. Understanding this, takes a judgmental attitude away. We will be able to help more people, understanding that it is only by God’s Grace, we have been accepted into His family, and His Grace is sufficient for us: 2 Corinthians 12 verse 9:

2 Timothy 1 verses 9 “Who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His purpose and Grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began.”

The Apostle Paul is telling Timothy in the second letter to Timothy, things to grow in.

!. Be loyal to the faith; 1 verses 13 to 18;

2, Be strong in Grace: 2 verses 1 to 13;

3. Be an approved Worker: 2 verses 14 to 26;

The ways for Timothy to do this was:

He needs to set the standard;

He needs to study the scriptures.

He needs to stir up the gifting on his life.

There are not to many life giving standards being set the worldliness of the world around us. The challenge is ours:

Setting the standard in Life and Doctrine: {Doctrine–Particular principle, belief.} The Life we have In Christ, and Belief/Faith we have in that assurance.

To be people who read and draw nourishment from The Word of God.

Stir up in the gifting. Spiritual gifts are evident as gifts, when God brings life to others through us. We are unique so we each have a unique gifting to reach others.

Growing and doing in His perfection, is a powerful way, to witness The Creator God who loves us dearly. John 3 Verse 16:
