My Lord My Friend is the statement behind our beliefs. We believe and know that Jesus is Our Lord, Our Redeemer, Our Savior and Our Friend.

We at My Lord My Friend,com. want to encourage everybody to live the life that we have been called to live in His word.

To become believers, followers or Christians or whatever it is you wish to be called. The title doesn’t matter, the fact that you are redeemed does!

Take a line from a singing group song, “My best friend is the creator of the universe”.

Are we really aware of the truth that the creator of the universe wants to be our friend? [John 1 verse 1 to 5}. Can we really understand just how much He loves us, and how much He wants to give us understanding, about a covenant relationship, we can have with Him, until we accept the love He wants to give us.

God loves us and has a purpose for our lives, The Bible states it this way, “For God loved the world in this way: He gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone {whosoever} who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.” John 3 verse 16:

God’s purpose is that we have eternal life:

God gives us eternal life as a gift. Romans 6 verse 23.

We can live a full and meaningful life right now. John 10 verse 10.

We will spend eternity with Jesus in Heaven. John 14 verse 3.

1 Corinthians 15: The Apostle Paul labeled his summary of Christ’s death, burial and resurrection as ‘The Gospel’ suggesting that those doctrines comprise the core Truths of the Good News of Salvation.

We need to respond. The only way Jesus can affect our lives is to receive Him. The Bible tells us, {John 1 verse 12}”But to all who receive Him, He gave them the right to be children of God, to those who believe in His Name .”

In our response we must repent of our wrong-doing against God. Acts 3 verse 19: ‘Therefore repent and turn back, that your sins may be wiped Out.”

Maybe it’s time for us to further put our faith in God, and step into a place where we are daily renewing our salvation with God. Putting on the robes of faith, and walking together in likeness with Our Lord, Our Friend.
