What beautiful words in Psalm 139 verse 23:
“Search me, God and know my heart; test me and know my concerns”.
God knows everything anyway, He know what our heart is like, and He knows all our concerns. This is a self examination, Lord I am doing my best with your help, but search my heart Lord, and let me know, if you find anything that would displease You.
When we live an unexamined life, it shows. People who is constantly trying to improve their lives, are willing to have many spiritual check-ups. God hates sin {wrong-doings}, because we were created in His Image.
In Hebrews 4 verses 14 to 16: we find:
V14: “Therefore since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens–Jesus The Son of God–let us hold fast to the confession”.
V15: “For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tested in every way as we are, yet without sin”.
V16: ‘Therefore let us approach the throne of Grace with boldness, so that we receive mercy and find grace to help us at the proper time”.
To come boldly before the Throne of Grace, we must be willing, for God to search us. If there is a problem, He is only to willing to help.
God Bless.
