To Follow Our Lord and Our Friend, means our life will be transformed, transformed in a new way of living, We are to become vessels of honor for Him. A grand Old Hymn, which I am sure will be enjoyed is ‘Take My Life’.

V1. Take my life, and let it be

Consecrated, Lord to thee;

Take my moments and my days,

Let them flow in ceaseless praise.

V2. Take my hands, and let them move

At the impulse of They Love;

Take my feet, and let them be

Swift and beautiful for Thee.

V3. Take my voice, and let me sing

Always only, for my king;

Take my lips, and let them be

Filled with messages from Thee.

V4. Take my silver and my gold;

What wonderful words, sung down through the ages, and wonderful words to keep singing, about surrendering our Lives to Our Lord and Our Friend. He doesn’t turn us into religious robots, He enhances all we are created to be. So our Commitment  to Him, here we are Lord, take and use all of us, so the Glories of Your Kingdom can be known.
