Reflective Moment For The New Year

The start of an incredible journey is accepting Christ Jesus as Our Lord, Our Redeemer and Our Friend. The covering scripture comes from 2 Corinthians 5 verse 17, but for our reflection, we are using 1 Peter.

Living Hope: 1 Peter 1 verses 3 to 5: {Message Bible}:

“What a God we have!  And how fortunate we are to have Him, this Father of our Master  Jesus! Because Jesus was raised from the dead, we’re been given a brand new life and everything to live for, including a future in heaven—and the future starts now! God is keeping careful watch over us and the future. The day is coming when you’ll have it all— life healed and whole”.

A Call To Holy Living; Verse 13: {Message Bible}:

“So roll up your sleeves, put your mind in gear, be totally ready to receive the gift that is coming when Jesus arrives. don’t be lazily slip back into those old grooves of evil, doing what you feel like doing. You didn’t know better then; you do now. as obedient children, Let yourselves be pulled into a way of life shaped by God’s life, a life energetic and blazing with holiness. God said. ‘I am Holy, you be Holy’.”

Living Hope is a blessed Assurance, of the Love God has for us, and the purposes He has for our lives.

A Call to live Holy, is setting ourselves apart for  Him to use, stepping into all that He has for us. The journey might not always be the way we want it, but we have a God that will never leave us no matter what we go through.

So as the Scripture says: “Roll up our sleeves, put our minds in gear and set our hope completely on The Grace to be brought to you when we waken to the Revelation of Who Christ Jesus is and what He has done for us.

New Year, let all get new purpose in our hearts, to be the people He is calling us all to be, through a life energetic and blazing with holiness.

God Bless.
