Scripture Of The Week – Philippians 4:5

Philippians 4 verse 5 “Let Your graciousness be known to everyone. The Lord is near.”

Our Graciousness comes from understanding of the Grace we have received.

Grace is God’s undeserved favor given to us through receiving Christ Jesus as Lord and Savor.

With the goodness of Grace that Our Lord and Friend has bestowed on us, we should display it to everyone.

There are always going to be strife around us too, just as in Philippians chapter 4. Paul address it V1 “So then, in this way, my dearly loved brothers, {and sisters} my joy and crown, stand firm in the Lord, dear friends. V2 I urge Euodia and I urge Syntyche to agree in the Lord.”

People, we should get along with are some of the most challenging to get along with. Most of the things we worry about involves other people in some way. There is always going to be conflict, even in a church or family situation.

We are never made perfect, we stand in Christ Jesus’ perfection, which we are to grow in. There is no such place as a perfect church on earth if there was only Jesus would be allowed in.

If we can’t put out all the fires, at least we can lower the temperature by using the Grace bestowed on us.

Our Lord and Our Friend is always near is because , He said He would NEVER leave us or forsake us.

We are walking a different walk from the world, and our companion is Our Lord and Our friend.

So let His Graciousness be displayed through our graciousness, because without His we have none that could make a  difference to anybody.

Be a vessel of honor for Him, and treat everybody the way you want to be treated with graciousness.

God Bless.
