Faith & Science

Science does not rule out faith in God.

Many stories we might hear today is that science is the answer to everything. Notable atheist Richard Dawkins who wrote the book The God delusion would like us all to believe that this is true.

This blog will never pick on a person for what they believe, we are all entitled to our opinions. God created us with a free choice, God also created us with a brain for learning what is truth and what is not.

Christianity is learned through theology, theory expressing, and revealing the Creator God.

Science is a theory or series of theories, and these theories can be developed into practical ways to help people for example through medicine.

One of Richard Dawkins quotes is “Religion is no longer a serious candidate in the field of exportation. It is completely superseded by science.” This quote is not a scientific statement, it is merely an opinion of someone whose understanding of Christianity falls short of his scientific expertise.

It is more adequate to say science is the ongoing process of discovering truth about the natural world.

Science cannot explain why we are here.

Science cannot explain the origins of life.

Science cannot explain where the world came from.

Science cannot explain what life is all about.

But the theory, there is a God who made the world, which is accounted for by the evidence we see, this is a better theory than there is no God. When we find and come to know God we also find;

We can explain why we are here, we were created in God’s image for relationship with Him.

We can explain the beginnings by His hands. {because by Him all things were created}

We can explain were we come from, the Creator God of the Universe {Our Lord and Our Friend}, created each one of us to be an individual. Finger prints are proof of our individuality.

We can explain what life is about. We have a God who loves us and wants to walk with us in our journey through life, and we have a destiny in Him.

Let finish with a quote from The American Astrophysicist Arno Penzias, who shared the 1978 Nobel Prize for Physics “The best data we have are exactly what I would have predicted had I nothing to go on but the five books of Moses, the Psalms, and the Bible as a whole.”

But concluded with a PS. With one of My favorite statements “a person with an experience of a loving God is never at the mercy of someone with an argument as to whether He exists.”

God bless
