Proverbs 9 v 10; “The Fear of The Lord is the beginning of wisdom; and knowledge of the Holy is understanding”.

We study the Word of God so that we might better know the God of The Word. The Better acquainted we are with God, the more we become like Him and acquire the skills we need for life and service.

The better we know God, the more we rightly fear Him. {A reverent fear, of His Awesomeness, not a scared fear]. We can make a living out of knowing many things, but we can’t make a life without God.

The self-interested wisdom of the world cannot compare to the Wisdom from above. Proverbs 3 verse 13: “Happy is the man [Or} lady that finds this wisdom”.

Finally, James 1 verse 5: “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God”.

Perhaps sometimes we ask our Lord and Lord for the things we want rather than what we need. To ask for more wisdom. at times, maybe we could see our problems in a different Light. the Light of Who He really is.

We are enveloped in Him. Romans 1 verse 8, so we should put every aspect of our lives also enveloped in Him, problems, difficulties and even our abilities, enveloped in the one Who has all the answers.
