We have used this scripture before but, this is such a wonderful scripture to be reminded that Our Lord and Our Friend has plans and purpose for all our lives. We should all reflect on this again, to help us all understand how much He loves us afresh. JEREMIAH 29 VERSE 11
“For I know the plans I have for you, this is the Lords declaration. Plans for your welfare, not for disaster, to give future and a hope”
This is a verse often on wall plaques, but few people have studied it in context.
This was Jeremiah advise to those in exile.
1. Make the best of things.
2. Pray – Talk with Our Lord (no matter where you are)
3. Beware of listening to the wrong people.
4. Take a long term view. (We are created for eternal living).
5. Get hopeful about God’s plans.
6. Seek the Lord above all.
This scripture is underpinned by “for God so loved (put your name in)”
“For I know the plans I have for (put your name in)”
The wonder of God’s word never ceases to amaze.
