Isaiah 26 verse 3 and 4  {King James Version}

V3. ” You will keep him {or her} in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he {or she} trust You.”

V4 “Trust in the Lord for ever, for in the Lord Jehovah, is ever lasting strength.”

As we start a new year what a great scripture to start with: TRUSTING IN THE LORD.

Trust produces Steadfastness.

Steadfastness is not a characteristic of the average persons life. Steadfastness is the result of trusting in God.

A steadfast mind is filled with peace. it is the mind that hangs on to God, which God keeps in perfect peace.

In order to partake of the full blessings of Trust, we must be persistently keeping our attitude right before God. There should be a Steadfast working, if there is to be a continuous flow, of God {Our Lord and Our Friend} in our lives.

Philippians 4 verse 7  “The Peace of God which passeth understanding shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

To Trust Our Lord and Our Friend is the start of steadfastness, through which He is able to pass on His Perfect Peace. It is a Peace that passes any comprehension the world may have.

This new year lets all make the decision to trust Our Lord and Our Friend more, and let the Steadfastness of this decision be a continual flow through our lives.
