Be Transformers

If the world controls our thinking, we are conformers.

If God controls our thinking, we are transformer.

“Expect great things from God and attempt great thing for God”.

If that is something that gets you thinking, then:

“If your dream doesn’t scare you, it is too small”.

Now to the incredible part of my faith journey. I have a wonderful friend who I have known for over 50 years called David. David is a brilliant man, and a wonderful man of faith, who over a number of years has had many heart operations, but He is still here. We have become prayer partners as well as a brother I never had. I don’t see David as much as I would like too, but our phone conversations can extend for long period.

A week ago, in one of theses phone conversation, David told me the Lord led him to do a study about ‘Shammah’ from 2 Samuel 23. Shammah was one of Biblical David’s mighty warriors. I should look into a study about him too.

Just today, I went to buy some Bibles for the church to give away and pick up a book by Mark Batterson called ‘A Million Little Miracles’ and found another book by him called ‘Chase the Lion’. I purchased that book too because of the subtitle I used above, “If Your dreams Doesn’t scare you, It’s too small’.

God certainly wanted me to buy that book, but at the time I didn’t really know why. I am in my office reading it and wow Chapter 2, is called ‘A Dream within a dream’ which refers the reader to 2 Samual 23: “These are the names of David’s mighty warriors”.

Here again I was led back to the name “Shammah” 2 Sammuel 23 verse 11 and 12.

V11: “The Philistines had assembled in formation where there was a field full of lentils. The troops fled from the Philistines,”.

V12: “but Shammah took his stand in the middle of the field, defended it, and struck down the Philistines. So, the Lord brought about a great victory”.

Be a mighty warrior for the Lord and let The Lord give us victory when we follow His leading. Because our enemy Satan is defeated so let The Lord confirm to us the victory we have, through taking a stand for Him.
