Transformation Continuing

Be Transformed.

When we read and study Psalms, we will find joy and sorrow, tears and trials, unpleasantness and pleasure, but the book of Psalms closes on the highest note of praise.

Psalms close on the highest note of praise! The first Palm says to God’s person, ‘Life is worth living for God”, and the final Psalm says to Gods’ people, “Don’t worry — this is the way the story will end. We shall all be praising the Lord.

Time in the book of Psalms is one of the most effective ways to develop intimacy with The Lord. A lifetime of reading, studying and memorizing on various psalms teaches and trains our hearts and souls to respond to Our Lord.

We learn by doing when we immerse ourselves in The Lord. We are making God’s thoughts our thoughts. A daily practice of reading Gods’ Word and not just the Psalms can help us spiritually.

When we are faced with a particular difficult decision, one of the best ways to settle ourselves down comes from Proverbs 3 verse 5 and 6:

V5: “Trust in The Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding”.

V6: “Think about Him in all your ways and He will guide you on the right paths”.

The Lord can use circumstances to speak into our lives. The Psalms have a powerful way of calming us and reminding us that God has everything under control.

We may have to make hard decisions or act with courage in certain circumstances, but spending time in the Psalms will prepare us to recognize Our Lord no matter what circumstances we do face.

Be Transformed reading through the Book of Psalms.

God Bless
