If this is your day for rest, like us all you still need encouragement. Be encouraged by this wonderful verse that speaks of God’s great love.

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whoever believes in him should have everlasting life.”

Have you ever just read that verse and marveled at how amazingly nice that is?

Well imagine how much nicer it becomes when you place your own name in it….

“For God so loved ________, that he gave his only begotten son, that ________ believes in him should have everlasting life.”

That is the picture of Love I like. The only condition it asks for is belief. And really as just another human being walking this earth isn’t that all I’m really looking for, someone to believe in me, and someone for me to believe in, wholehearted and unflinchingly?

Even when I’m all alone, if I was the only person that ever existed, God believed in me so much that he sacrificed his son so that I may have the chance to believe in him and love him for eternity.

At the end of the day it is the confession of who Jesus is and the confession of what he has done for you that is the greatest picture of love.

So relax, love is easy, because Jesus loves you very much!
