Transformation Continuing; Gods’ very own Children.
In Galatians 4: The Apostle Paul unfolds several ways in which our relationship with God is truly a father-child connection.
The child has the same nature as a father, but the servant does not. When we trust Christ, the Holy Spirit comes to live within us and means we ‘share His divine nature’.
The law could never give a person Gods’ nature. All it could do was reveal to the person their desperate need for God’s nature.
So, when the believer goes back into the law, they are denying the very divine nature within, and they are giving their old nature {the flesh} opportunity to work.
The child has a father, while the servant has a master. No servant could ever say “Father” to their master.
When the sinner trust Christ, they receive The Holy Spirit within the Spirit tells them that they are a child of the Father.
When the Holy Spirit comes to reside with a believer, they can cry ‘Abba Father’. The word ‘Abba’ is an Aramaic word that is equivalent of our English word ‘Daddy”.
The Child has a future while the servant does not. 1 John 3 verse 1:
“Look at how great a love The Father has given us, that we should be called God’s children. And we are. The reason the world does not know us is that it didn’t know Him”.
Let see ourselves as we really are if we have been ‘Born Anew’ by accepting Christ Jesus as Our Lord, Our Redeemer and Our Friend.
Children that God The Father loves, and has plans for our good and not for ruin {Jeremiah 29 Verse 11}.
God Bless.
