Dealing with Difficulties – Influencers
A comment I heard was that an average person could influence 80,000 people in their
lifetime if the average life expectancy was 78 years.
That means we have the chance to
impact 2.8 people per day every day of our lives. An influencer (leader, motivator, inspirer);
is someone who has the power to affect the decisions of others because of their authority,
knowledge, position, or relationship with another person.
Have you thought about how you affect people you come in contact with each day? A
simple smile, a thank you, a kind word or a genuine compliment/word of praise, can make a
difference to someone.
One of the motivational gifts mentioned in Romans chapter 12
verse 8 “if you have the grace-gift of encouragement, then use it often to encourage
others.”
I love the word ‘encouragement’. It speaks to me and putting courage into another; inspire
courage and confidence.
Hebrews 10:24-25 says “And let us consider how we may spur one another on towards love
and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but
encouraging one another – and all the more as you see the day approaching”.
Mathew 6 verse 33, “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these
things will be provided for you.”
What an inspiration for the people it would be, if they were to see leaders seeking God first,
in all they do. The world needs and is looking for Godly leaders. Pray for Godly leaders, who
will also be Godly servants to all they lead.
2 Timothy 4 verses 3 to 5: “For the time will come when they will not tolerate sound
doctrine, but according to their own desires, will accumulate teachers for themselves
because they have an itch to hear something new.”
Let us endeavor to live the life of His high calling, keeping our eyes on what we are doing
for the kingdom we are ambassadors for. In this we will keep the Message alive, to do a
thorough job as God’s representative in the earth today.
God Bless.
