Changing What We Behold

An old expression beauty is in the eye of the beholder, really talking about what we see or take our focus.

But as well as seeing, there are things we should have our minds dwell on.

Philippians 4 Verse 8: “Finally brothers [and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is true, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable—if there is any moral excellence and if there is any praise–dwell on these things”

Changing and allowing our minds to be renewed, the best way of renewing our minds is by reading, meditating and speaking God’s Word.

To keep our minds pure and clear from anything that would hurt or weaken us spiritually. Our bodies are the sanctuary of The Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 6 Verse 19:

“Do you not know that your body is a sanctuary of The Holy Spirit Who is in you, Whom you have from God/ You are not your own, for you were brought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body”.

With The Holy Spirits presence in us, we should not let doubt, worry or fear pollute our minds.

God created us with the ability to choose and with all that Our Lord and Our Friend achieved on the cross for us, {The Price He paid for us} let us choose our lives to be one of renewing, by meditating on His Word, so He can complete the plans and purpose, He has for our lives without hindrances from us. Jeremiah 29 Verse 11.

Choose to dwell on what Our Lord and Our Friend says is good for us, the honorable, true, pure, lovely, commendable and let our lives be transformed into the life we were created for,.

God Bless
