Scripture Verse Of The Week

Matthew 6 verse 34: “Therefore don’t worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own”.

Amplified Bible :”So do not worry or be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will have worries and anxieties of its own. Sufficient for each ay is it own trouble.”

This is the verse that comes after: “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be provided for you”.

A simple message if we don’t won’t to worry, we should be seeking God more.

God gives us enough grace for one day at a time and to avoid fatigue and weariness and burnout in our minds, we must learn to live one day at a time, with trust in Our Lord and Our Friend.

Galatians 4 verse 6: reiterates to us:

“Don’t worry about anything, but in everything through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your request be known to God”.

Seek first His Kingdom, because The Kingdom of Our Lord and Our Friend is totally different from the kingdom of this world.

In the His Kingdom for which we were created, we can have fellowship with Him. Fellowship with the Omnipresence {Ever-present}, Omniscient {All-knowing} and Omnipotent {{All-powerful God}, He really is the only one we truly need to know.

We can’t possibly know all about Him., most people dismiss Him, but He has made away for ‘any ‘whosoever’, to come to Him. John 3 verse 16.

He is virtually seeking us, with an offer to come into His Presence, and again most people think they don’t need Him.

The Promises in His Kingdom are real, they are eternal promises, even one of the thieves, who hung on the cross, recognized and received Who Him and His Kingdom. Luke 23 verse 42:

“The he said, ‘Jesus, remember me when You come into your kingdom”.

And He  was accepted, because the thief had recognized, he had don’t wrong, and ask Jesus to be His Lord and King.

Even at the most troubling times in  our lives, we like that thief, will be accepted and forgiven, if we ask for it.

The seeking doesn’t finish in His acceptance, there is more about Our Lord, Our Redeemer and Our Friend, He wants us to find.

In a New kingdom, we need to put on the garments of that Kingdom. We have been given New-life, and a new way of living, our lives should reflect that.

Galatians 5 verse 22: tells us about the Fruit of the Spirit, The Fruit of the Kingdom, these fruits are available to us, and not like the fruit in the Garden of Eden, God told Adm and Eve not to eat.

Galatians 5 verse  24: “Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with it’s passions and desires”.

Crucified virtually the the passions and desires, that cause us to worry. Living in and seeking after the fruits of our New Kingdom, we will find that His Grace is Sufficient for us, 2 Corinthians 12 verse 9, sufficient for us not to worry.

God Bless.
