Hebrews 11 Verse 4: “By faith Abel offered to God a better sacrifice than Cain did.

By this he was approved as a righteous man, because God approved his gift, and even though he is dead, he still speaks through this.”Cain killed his brother Abel, was an out working of disobedience towards God.

God preferred Abel offering not because He liked meat more than vegetables or shepherd more than farmers, but because Abel’s offering was made in faith

Abel offering is showing in his bringing what was special and best.

Cain did by contrast, was bringing some minimal gift.

Genesis 4: The broken relationship with God brings disharmony among people, and even sets nature against God.

We see in current times the broken relationship with God. But through the Cross, it is common for believers to be called ‘brothers and sister in Christ.

We may have even overlooked the idea that Jesus is our Brother also.Our Lord and Our Friend is not ashamed to identify himself with us in such terms.

As children share flesh and blood, He has shared flesh and blood with us. His attitude and actions are completer contrast to Cain, so let us say to our Brothers and sister in Christ.Let me be Christ to you.
