1 Thessalonians 4 Verse 11: “To seek a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you.”
The Apostle Paul, in this verse exhorts us to: ‘lead a quite life’ These days that might seem hard. Our faith makes us able to meet the challenges of leading a quite life. An important first step is Paul’s command to work with our own hands. Paul’s emphasis is not on hand, but on your own.
God does not insist on manual labor, but He does require us to use our abilities but he really wants us to be dependent on nobody accept Him.
Bringing peace in to our lives, not being distracted by unnecessary disturbances or distractions. Minding your own business, and working hard helps us live well with people outside of our faith.
Living a quite life, doesn’t mean a life of little achievement, but a life of listening the leadings Our Lord and Our Friend gives us, staying away from the quarrels of life.
Living a quite life, where we know His Grace is sufficient for us in all we: 2 Corinthians 12 verse 9.
Living a quite life trusting that in our listening and following Him. God has great plans for our life Jeremiah 29 Verse 11.
Living a quite life, that reflects, the Life of our only example, Our Lord, Our Redeemer and Our Friend.
