Do Not Be Discouraged

Do not be discouraged as it says in Joshua 1 verse 9:

“Haven’t’ I commanded you; be strong and courageous? Do not be afraid or discouraged for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

I am blessed to know many faithful people through the ministry, and one such person is the Chaplin Ron at a large city court. I am apart of a prayer group he started with people from many different churches via online.

He is always encouraging us as a group, and he is an inspiration to all who know him. So I am sure he won’t mind when I share the latest wonderful encouragement he sent, about ‘Do not be discouraged’.

Do not be discouraged for God is over all. Revelation 3 verse 7 and 8:

“And to the Angel of the Church in Philadelphia write: The words of the Holy One, the True One, Who has the key of David, who opens and no one shut, who shuts and no one opens. Behold I have set before you an open door. which no one is able to shut. I know that you have little power, and yet you have kept my Word and have not denied My Name.”

That means no one is able to delay or obstruct the plans and purpose of God.When God opens a door of service or opportunity no one can shut it. And when He shuts a door, it is a waste of time trying to open it. God is not only in control of the door, He also controls what is on the other side.

If you have prayed for an open door, be ready to walk through when God opns it. And when an open door closes, be patient until it opens again.God is in the past, in the present, and is already in the future.

God Bless You All

Chaplin Ron
