It is written in Joel Chapter 3: “In those days and at that time’ (when I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem”.
Think carefully about the meaning and significance of those words and how it relates to your life today. Especially if you are suffering, hurting emotionally,, grieving in loss, are in hardship, family dysfunction or just weary of trying to make your life work. Your life seems so empty despite your faith and you can’t seem to share it.
The lord’s comfort says ‘IN THOSE DAYS’ and ‘AT THAT TIME’. God is with you in a time frame, within a season and the words, ‘when I restore’. Not ’I can’t restore’. Not, ‘I will restore! But, ‘WHEN I restore!’ he Lord promises that through trust in him, there will come restoration, in certain days and at a certain time’, to bring blessings and fruit back into your life. After the sorrowing experience comes the shelter and refuge, the wisdom to share insight with others. To add those living, loving, lessons that God gives to renew and to increase our faith spiritually, from ‘at a time and in those days’ to our lives. It is often a time of reflection and surrender.
Verse 14 reminds us ” Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the Lord is near in the valley of decision”.
For the Lord is near in the valley of decisions’ and there will always be ‘valley’ decisions in life.
But the Lord is a refuge for his people and a stronghold, so he says in Chapter 3, not only for Israel but always for us.
WHAT IS YOUR DECISION?
