Weekend Inspiration

endorsement

We once again thank our dear friend Lorraine for this week’s Weekend Inspiration. Lorraine has a wonderful gift of writing poetry, and Lorraine herself is an incredibly inspiring person to know. we are sure like us, you will enjoy her poem:  ECHOES

THE SIGHING OF A SOFT BREEZE WHISPERS IN MY EARS
AND TOUCHES MY HAIR

I LINGER TO FEEL THE URGE TO JUST STAND STILL
AND SEEK THE SOLACE, THE DAY AT WILL

OR THE SUN KISSED DEW IN THE GRASS AT MY FEET
SOAKING MY SHOES AS THEY MEET.

A SCENTED TREE WAVES ITS LIMBS, STRONG AND TALL
LOOSENING ME FROM MY INNER WALLS.

BLOSSOMS LIFT FROM WILTING AND SHEDDING TO NOD
AND SO WELCOME A PAINTED DAWN

AS DO ROSES THAT LAY OVERNIGHT IN HEATED DUST
AS IF TAINTED BY MIRRORED RUST.

BREATH DEEPLY MY DAUGHTER AND INHALE THE DAY
AS ONE ORDAINED MORN IT MAY NOT APPEAR THIS WAY

NUMBERED HOURS SLIDE AND SURROUND IN UNKNOWN MAPS
OF CAPTURING HEARTS AND SPIRIT LIKE LEAKING SAP.

SO STAND STILL AND ABSORB AND SEEK THE SKY ABOVE
BE THANKFUL FOR EVERY MINUTE OF LOVE.

Be Blessed Today and Everyday.
