Reading a lot of studies, and guides, as well as delving into God’s Word regularly, I came across a new word to reflect upon. Ortho-Walking.
The prefix Ortho means; straight, so hence ortho-dontist, a person who straightens your teeth.
So it doesn’t stop there: Ortho-walking—straight walking—walking straight.
Ortho-tlking—straight talking—talking true.
If we apply this principal to the following scriptures, we see what Ortho-walking can do.
Genesis 5 verse 24: “Enoch WALKED with God, and He was not there, because God took him”.
Isaiah 40 verse 31: “but those who trust in the Lord will renew their strength; they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary they will WALK and not faint”.
Micah 6 verse 8: “Only to act justly, to love faithfulness, and to WALK humbly with your God”.
Romans 6 verse 4: “So that we too may WALK in a new way of life”.
2 Corinthians 5 verse 7: “For we WALK by faith and not by sight”.
Galatians: 5 verse 16: ‘I say then, WALK in the Spirit and you will not carry out the desires of the flesh”.
Ephesians 5 verse 8: “Walk as children of The Light”.
1 John 1 verse 7: “But if we WALK in the Light as He Himself is in the Light”.
Our Walking, our talking, must be true—-Walking straight/talking straight.
Ortho-walking and Artho-talking, displays the Awesomeness of the God we serve, and straight walking and talking gets us to that point sooner.
