Reflective Moment ‘What Is Your Name’

Imagine wrestling with an angel, the they ask you what is your name.

Genesis 32 verse 27: “What is your name”.

Then when Jacob told him, The angel told him God was giving him a new name.

V28: “your name will no longer be Jacob” He said. “It will be Israel because you have struggled with God and with men and have prevailed”.

God wants to give us a new identity in Him, for In Him there is no condemnation, Romans 8 verse 1:

In Christ, we are not who others say we. We are more than our past, more than than anything we obtained ourselves, we are more than what money we do or don’t have in the bank.

John 1 verse 12:

V12: “But to all who did receive Him, He gave them the right to be the children of God”.

When you receive Him, we are given a new identity,He might not have change our name, but He has given us newness of life. The way we were before, we are not held back by, we have a new purpose and a new eternal destiny.

So now we can all lift our head high, and begin walking as a child of The King, in our new identity In Him.

God Bless.
