Reflective Moment ‘Being Committed’

reflection

We would all prefer an easy chat about how nice God is, to an all out clash with the world’s view. We love to get accolades and affirmation that gives us a temporary high. We can avoid basic conflicts and soak up praise with relative ease. But as Kingdom people we should have astute quick wittiness, and laced with fast acting humility.

We belong to His kingdom, and that is what we should be about building and bringing people in to His Kingdom.

As Kingdom people, we should not be looking for the easy, only looking for His guidance, because James 1 verse 2 to 4 tells us:

V2: “Consider it a great joy, my brothers {sisters], whenever you experience various trails”. V3: “knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance”. V4: “But endurance must do it’s complete work, so that you may mature and complete lacking nothing”.

In lacking nothing, we will be more able to be His vessels, to our communities around us.

Mathew 9 verse 37: “Then He {Jesus} said to His disciples, ‘The harvest is abundant, but the workers are few’.”

It is never about what people think of us, our testimony should always be about Our Lord and Our Friend.

God Bless.

O F J.
