The two foundations Matthew 7 verse 24 to 29: What are we building, a life with all the perks, that can’t satisfy past the now, or a life eternal which we can start living now and not even the grave can stop it. Either way what we build, will effect our eternity.

V 24: “Therefore, anyone who hears these word of Mine {Jesus}, and acts  upon them will be like a wise man {or woman} who builds his house on the rock.”

V25: ‘ The rain fell, the rivers rose, and the winds blew and pounded the hose. Yet it didn’t collapse, because it foundations was on the rock”.

V26 “But everyone who hears these words of Mine and doesn’t act on them will be like a foolish man {or woman}  who build his  house on the sand”.

V 27: “The rain fell, the rivers rose. the winds blew and pounded that house, and it collapsed. And the collapse was great”.

Rock is Christ Jesus, and our energy to build, is His Love, the energy of being planted in all He has for us. If anyone hears these words of Christ Jesus, and acts upon them, they will build an eternal foundation, which will be, the base for all we do,

If anyone builds on the sifting sands of world opinions, they will not have put down any eternal foundations. There is a saying we can’t take it with us when we die, but what is built on the Eternal Rock, the work will survive and we will receive a reward. 1 Corinthians 3 verse 14:

A wise person builds upon the Rock, and it has eternal rewards.
