If this is your day for rest, like us all you still need encouragement. Be encouraged that Our Lord and Our Friend has great plans for us all, if we step into the plans He has for us, by repenting {saying sorry} to Him, for all the things that have not lived up to the standard He has for our lives and accepting, all that He has for us, and walking in His Truth.

1 John 3 verse 2.

“Dear friends, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet been revealed. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him as He is.”

This is such a good verse we will use the Amplified Bible to emphasize how good it is. “Beloved, we are {even here and} now God’s Children; it is not yet disclosed {made clear} what we shall be {Hereafter}, but we know that when He comes and is manifest we shall {as God’s children} resemble and be like Him, for we shall see Him just as He {really} is.”

This is not a reflection of what we will be like after the second coming of our Lord. This is dealing with the life we have as a believer NOW.

We are His Children NOW – this living in our calling NOW.

What we are to be like in this world, and what will take place when we live the life of that calling as Children of God, through Christ Jesus {Our Lord and Our Friend} we can overcome the world. It is what is in our life because we have invited Christ Jesus in, that is causes us to overcome the world.

The most important thing that as a believer we should know, is not about quoting the scripture but living the scriptures.

We are the Children of God, we become a Child of God, when we accept Christ Jesus as Lord and Friend. John 5 verse 24.

The Spirit of God comes to live inside us. We need The Spirit to bring life into us. Life that keeps us growing and going as Children of God, until that wonderful Day of The Lord.
