Reflective Moment ‘Worship’

At the start of a new year. lets not just look at giving God, some more of our time for doing. Lets find more time to worship Him. To worship means ‘to give God honor’ and acknowledge His Awesomeness.

Psalm 46 verse 10: tells us:”Be still, and know that I Am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth”. {NKJV},

The same verse from The Message Bible: “Step out of the traffic! Take a long, loving look at me, Your High God, above politics, above everything”.

When we worship, we are reverencing Him and acknowledging, all He has done for us.

Worship in the New Testament, what stands out in the believer’s life and  demands attention is: The First Christians worshiped with grateful and joyful hearts.

Lets not get sucked up into consumerism, of wanting more and more things of the world. Let this year be a year, where we enjoy, worshiping, and praising Our Lord, Our Redeemer and Our Friend.  After all we are told to seek His Kingdom first, in seeking let us take reverent Praise and Worship with us.

If we learn to enjoy God more, we will learn to enjoy everything around us more, and we will be more enjoyable to be around, which will make our witness easier.

God Bless.
