One Of the modern pop songs the words, goes something like this: ‘What about me, it isn’t fair’.

The problems with the words are the concept, ‘what about me’. The glorious reason we were created, is to live in the presence of a loving God, has fallen in to a world ‘what about me’. a life of self love, and self seeking.

This ‘what about me’ concept, has made our worlds smaller. the world was never designed to revolve around us. The wondrous world of knowing more about, all that our loving God has created for us, has for most been lost in their own little worlds of self.

Proverbs 16 verse 2: “All a man’s ways seem right in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the motives.”

Self seeking has really not got much to seek, God seeking, is an ever increasing knowledge in the wonders of creation, that we were created to partake in.

Matthew 6 verse 33; “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be provided for you.”

Unfortunately many miss the real Salvation message, For God so loved that He gave, John 3 verse 16; and the love that He gives, can not fit into a kingdom of self.

The Kingdom of self is the fall of man and the great apostasy from the life of God. The New life, we are offered through the cross, is new life  in God Kingdom, where we need to die to self, in order for the creation purposes for which we were created are re-birthed into our lives, in our new creation in Christ.

Serving one self, only pleases one person, serving Our Lord and Our Friend, bring pleasure to many. When the call of God to repentance and acceptance comes into our souls, take time to be quite before Him in prayer {communication} and humbly attentive to the new life with us. It is a time to disregard the working of self, by doing so we will know the power and love of God in their fullness, for us as individuals.

We need to know that God loves us individually, and Loves us too much to leave us the way we are, and self person must must die, in order for the new life He has for us, to be effective for Him.

It not a matter of saying just a script of words, that makes us one of Our Lord and Friend’s followers, it is an action, where we give all we are to Him to transform into who He has created us to be.
