Our Lord and Our Friend left the splendor and glory of heaven and came to a place of darkness and sin.

Philippians 2 verse 5 to 8;

V5: “Make your own attitude that of Christ Jesus,”

V6: “Who, existing in the form of God, did not consider equality with God as something to be used for His own advantage.”

V7: “Instead He emptied Himself by assuming the form of a slave.”

V8: “He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death on a cross.”

Why would He do this? It was not to judge but to save sinners like each one of us.

He came because He loved us, and loves us individually, not because we are a member of a religious group, acceptance of His love comes on an individual bases, through personal repentance and acceptance of The Gift of Grace from The Father.

We were the reason for and the cause of His pain and suffering. Amazing Grace, How sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me.

Aren’t you glad He came. and He is coming again is your lamp trimmed.
