The Church is not full of people who are all stars, it should be full of people doing there part, doing there best for God.

The only person who is to be worshiped and followed, is The King of Kings, Lord of Lord, God Himself.

The Apostle Paul never sought to be better than anyone else, or a person who stood out more than anyone else, but through what he did, he has stood out as a great person of Faith and Commitment. In His writings in 1 Corinthians 7 verse 7:

“i wish that all people were like me. But each has his Own Gift from God, one this and another that.”

There is a concept in the world of ‘big city attractions’, where we are drawn by the lights of the big city, and the big structures of the city, and the big personalities of the big city. But for any city to operate, it needs more behind the scene things, doing their jobs to function as a city. We never take much notice of the wires, cables and pipes, that keep the supply of electricity and water, and even taking away the waste.

We are all precious in the Kingdom of God and Our Lord and Our Friend doesn’t play favorites or have any favorites. Acts 10 verse 34 and 35:

V34: “Then Peter began to speak: ‘In truth, I understand that God doesn’t show favoritism, V35: but in every nation the person who fears Him and does righteousness is acceptable to Him’.”

When we look at the Church, we see the Pastor, or Minister or Priest, they have been given a gift of great responsibility to undertake what they do, but if  they did not have people with other giftings and skills working around them, the church would not function. 

1 Corinthians 12 verse 4 to 6; V4; Now there are different gifts, but the same spirit, V5 There are different ministries but the same Lord,  V6 And there are different activities, but the same God is active in everyone and everything.”

Unfortunately, ‘The Big City Mentality’, has made many just pew warmer, listening  to a message from a person just trying to be the best they can be for God. There are many things each of us can do for the advancement of God’s Kingdom, to name a few,

Pray for all those around us, encourage all those around us, help all those around us the best way we can, and the same God who is working through The Pastor, The Minister or Priest is active in everything you do for Him. God is no respect of persons, and He loves you as much as anybody else.
