In 1 Corinthians 10 verse 13: The Apostle Paul writes:
“No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to humanity. God is faithful and He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation He will also provide a way of escape, so that you are able to bear it.”
Some people think this says we can’t be tempted because God won’t allow it, but what it does say when we get tempted, which will happen because we don’t become exempt to temptation, God will not allow us to be tempted above what we are able.
We can be tempted, and when we are overtaken by a set of circumstances we didn’t create, do not want, and we do not know how to get out of. Our Lord and Our Friend knows about it. We don’t pick the trials and the tests, they pick us.
Our Faith should be in He knows and He won’t allow us to be tempted above what we are able, and He knows us and our limits. He knows but He still wants us to tell Him about it.
There is always things to learn out of every circumstance both good and bad, even though we don’t like the bad.
Hebrews 4 verse 15 and 16: Explains what we can do by faith, and why we can do it.
V 15: “For we do not have a high priest who is anable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tested in every way as we are yet without sin.’
V 16: “Therefore let us approach the throne of Grace with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us at the proper time.”
Yes we will be tempted, but we have by faith, a Throne of Grace to run to.
