We are sure if we couldn’t figure the reason for inflation, we could get a detailed explanation from many monetary experts.

Virtually inflation comes as apart of greed, the more we can make, the more we have to spend on ourselves. That is not only in the realm of the business executives, but the average worker on the street.

A basic philosophy in a consumer society, we have wants all the time, and prices are set on the demand for products and what people are prepared to pay.

Contentment, we are designed and created to live and walk in fellowship with a loving God. The Apostle Paul wrote in the Book of Philippians 4 verse 11 to 13:

V11: “I {Paul} have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am”.

V12: “I know to have a little, and I know how to have a lot. In any and all circumstances I have learned the secret of being content—whether well-fed or hungry, whether in abundance or in need”.

V13: “I am able to do all things through Him that strengthens me”.

Paul learned the secret of being content, it did come from material possession, it come from the knowledge that he was able to do all things through Christ Jesus, Our Lord and Our Friend.

Matthew 6 verses 25 to 34; Teaches us;

V25: “This is why I {Jesus} tell you: Don’t worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food and the body more than clothing”.We won’t write out all the verses, we will finish with verse 33:

V33: “But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be provided for you”.

This is not teaching us to sit back and do nothing, seeking is an action, seek after the things of God. Faith is an Action by which James 2 verse 17 teaches us.

V17: “In the same way faith, if it doesn’t have works, is dead by itself”.

We need to be doing, learning, loving and living Kingdom principles all the time, thought this we will find the contentment The Apostle Paul found, when he stated, “I have found the secret of being content.’

Even verses in Revelation about The Third seal Rev 6 verses 5 and 6}, should excite us and not trouble us. The Third Horsemen of Revelation is speaking about inflation, but this  Horseman is told not to harm to Oil and The Wine, which is speaking about those that put there trust in Christ Jesus Our Lord and Our Friend, Oil speaks of being anointed, we have His covering. The Wine, speaks of The Vine, and we are the branches.

All scripture is for obtaining knowledge, and through knowledge, finding the secret of contentment.
