Jesus’ life and death means that there is nothing we can go through that He does not understand. Sometimes we may question God about the issue of suffering, but one thing we can not accuse Him of is not knowing about it.

Jesus died and was a full part of humanity. He truly does know what it means to be tempted, to be lonely, to be tired,to be lowly thought of, to laugh, to engage with people, even to sweat, and to die.

We may not understand the complete mystery of the cross, but Jesus had to take all the sins of the world, and even it shame, and he had to die in our place. He died for each one of us, and rose again for each one of us, to give us all individual new life in Him.

In some way this is to wonderful for us to fully understand, but because of God’s great love for us, it had to be done. The God that created us, died as one of us, to pay the price of our sins, that separated us from Him.
