Did You Know

We have been speaking about well-being and mentioned diet, did you know two important people in the bible ate Books.

Yes two prophets in fact one in the Old Testament, Ezekiel, and one from the New Testament, John in Revelation: Not that we advise anybody to physically eat the Bible, but it is the most wonderful book to draw nourishment from.

Ezekiel 2 verse 9 to 3 verse 3:

2 V 9: “So i looked and saw a hand reaching out to me, and there was written scroll in it”.

2 v 10: “When he unrolled it before me, it was written on the front and back; words of Lamentation, mourning, and woe were written on it”.

3 v 1: “He said to me; ‘Son of man, eat what you find here. Eat this scroll then gp and speak to the house of Israel”.

3 v 2: “So I opened my mouth, and He fed me the scroll”.

3 v 3: ” ‘Son of man,’ he said to me, ‘eat and fill your stomach with this scroll I am giving you’. So I ate, it, and it was as sweet as honey in my mouth.”

New Testament Revelation 10 verses 9 and 10: Speaking about The apostle John:

V9: “So I went to the angel and asked him to give me the little scroll. He said to me, ‘Take and eat it; it will be bitter in your stomach, but it will be sweet as honey in your mouth’.”

V10: “Then I took the little scroll from the angel’s hand and ate it. It was as sweet as honey in my mouth, but when I ate it, my stomach  became bitter.”

Well there you go, the two prophets that ate books, which will provide a good study as to why they did that.

God Bless.
