It is good to always have in view the end for which the scriptures were written. The main reason, to show us the way of salvation by Christ Jesus.

Look therefore, always for Our Lord and Our Friend in The scriptures, In The Old Testament we will find Him under prophecies. types, sacrifices and shadows; in the New Testament He is manifested in the flesh to become a propitiation for our sins as a priest, and a prophet to reveal the whole will of His Heavenly Father. It is important to have Our Lord and Our Friend in view when we read God’s Word.

Make it a daily love, not only to talk with Him, and talk about Him to others, but to learn more about Him through scriptures.
