Blessedness, the state of being Blessed, which comes from walking with Our Lord and Our Friend. It is a relationship the world can not comprehend.

We are not talking about having a money tree in the back yard, or where we have a troubled free life. What we are talking about is The God that created us, walking with us as our mentor. The vastness of His Knowledge always around us, warning and nurturing us to be the people, He created us to be.

walking in Blessedness, walking in Blessed assurance, that no matter what comes our way, we are secure in Our Lord and Our Friend.

As the wonderful hymn ‘Blessed Assurance’ says:

Blessed Assurance—Jesus is mine!

Oh, what a foretaste of glory divine!

Heirs of Salvation, purchased of God;

Born os His Spirit, washed in His Blood.

The writer of that wonderful Hymn sure knew, what it was to walk in blessedness.

A lot of Christians may give up when times get tough, Christianity is about building foundations.

Matthew 7 verse 24:”therefore, everyone who hears these words of Mine, and acts on them will be like a sensible man who built his house on the rock”.

Colossians 2 verse 6: “Therefor as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord. ‘walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith’.”

The difference between the houses built in Matthew 7, was probably minimal, but the foundations on one was the issue and the foundations of the other were deep and secure.

Titus 2 verses 11 to 13:

V11: “For the Grace of God has appeared, with salvation for all people”, V12: “Instructing us to deny godlessness and worldly lusts and to live sensible, righteous , and godly way in this present age”.

V13: “While we wait for the blessed hope and the appearing of the Glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ”

God Grace instructs us to walk in His ways which is ‘blessedness’, with blessed Hope waiting for the return of Our Lord and Our Friend, as He truly is King of Kings and Lord of Lord.
