In order for a sinner to be saved, three things are indispensable:

1 God The Father had to purpose His salvation.:

2. God the son had to purchase it,

3. God The Holy Spirit has to apply it.

1 Corinthians 1 verses 18 to 21:

v18 “For to those who are perishing the message of the cross is foolishness, but to us who are being saved it is God’s power”.

V19: “For is is written; I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and I will set aside the understanding of the experts”.

V20: “Where is the philosopher? where is the scholar? Where is the debater of the age? Hasn’t God made the world’s wisdom foolish?”

V21: “For since, in God’s wisdom, the world did not know God through wisdom, God was pleased to save those who believe through the foolishness of the message preached”.

Salvation can not be found in the wisdom of the world, Salvation comes from hearing the calling, of God’s purposes for our lives. Salvation comes from accepting the price that was paid by God The Son for each one of us. Salvation comes as a process, as we allow The Holy Spirit, to apply it to our lives.

Salvation is a continual work in process, because God purpose for each one of lives is far bigger than leaving us the way we are when we are first saved.

We can belong to ‘club church’, or we can belong to the bigger picture the body of Christ, which is a living organism, where we are keep growing in the purpose that God has for us all.{which can be a local church}
