Point To Ponder

What tends to impress us?  Do we tend to be impressed by bigness?

Is our unit of measure for greatness, measured by the the so called grandeur of things? Why don’t we notice the impact of little things more.

Our Lord and Our Friend tells us in Matthew 17 verse 20: About what we can do if we have faith the size of a Mustard seed.

Our Lord and Our friend described the Kingdom and faith as starting out small, but ultimately having a big impact, in the parable of the mustard seed. Luke 13 verse 18 and 19;

Our Lord and Our Friend’s challenge to us as His followers is not to be impressed by power, success, or the magnitude of achievement, but to give ourselves to the so called little things, the things of His Kingdom. counted among these things are the lasting things, Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self Control. These are the Fruits of The Spirit that are mentioned in Galatians 5 verse 22 to 23. In these and in His Kingdom lies ultimate significance.

Let our attention be caught in the awe and magnitude of His Kingdom, where we can really grow and flourish, in the things that will really astound.

God bless,

O F J.
