Whatever

The greatest joy people can have, is having children through a Godly relationship. When you are privileged to have children you are deeply blessed

There is a wonderful story in 1 Samuel where Hannah and her husband Elkanah were unable to have children, but all things are possible to God. Hannah ended up having a son and he became Samuel the prophet and author of First and Second Samuel.

When you have children you also have deep responsibilities, because in Jeremiah 1 verse5: “I chose you before I formed you in the womb: I set you apart before you were born.” God knows us all before He forms us in the wombs.. It is the parents responsibility to help their children to find a relationship with the God that created them.

We can not make that decision for them, but we should show them by example why that decision will be the best they ever make..

Children are born with a destiny, to grow into great adults, under the prayerful support and instruction of their parents. God knows us all before, we are formed, it is up to all parents whether single or not to bring their children to a place where they know the God that formed them and loves them so much.

One of the reasons I am writing this article is my own three sons. They have all grown into Great fathers and men of God, which is one of the greatest blessing, parents can have.

My youngest son always has a favorite saying even though he is now a family man, and that is “Whatever”. So I have put together some scriptures to show that fathers can learn from their sons.

Colossians 3 verse 17: “WHATEVER you do, in word and in deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ giving thanks to God the father through Him”

Colossians 3 verse 23: “WHATEVER you do, do it enthusiastically; as something done for the Lord, and not for men.”

3 John verse 5; “Dear friends, you are showing your faith be WHATEVER you do for the brothers, and this you are doing for strangers.”

Proverbs 16 verse 3 {NIV}: “Commit to the Lord WHATEVER you do and your plans will succeed.”

Ecclesiastics 11 verse 9 {NIV}: “Be happy, young man, while you are young, and let you heart give joy in the days of your youth. Follow the ways of your heart and WHATEVER your eyes see, but know that for all these things God will bring you to judgement.”

Ecclesiastes 9 verse 10: “Whatever your hands find to do, do with all your strength.”

So parents you are never to old to learn from your children, even if there statements don’t make sense to you at the time, there is always meaning in what they say, even if they don’t mean it.

God Bless.
