Dealing With Difficulties – Difficulties

The best way in dealing with difficulties is to take them to the One who loves us the most. The One who laid His life down for us, so we might be free from one of the greatest difficulties sin, and a the difficulty of understanding death.

I was listening to the news and an apparent rock star, don’t remember who he was, but one of the things he said was ‘he was annoyed at people who referred to people as sinners’. So believe, what  he was saying was ‘he was annoyed at sound doctrine’

But the god of this world who is the father of lies {Satan} himself, is happy with the things that upsets Our Lord and Our friend. The father of lies who is also referred as the god of this world.

2 Corinthians 4 v 4: {Amplified Bible]  “For the god of this world has blinded the unbelievers’ minds [that they should not desire truth}, preventing them from seeing the illuminating light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ, The Messiah, Who is the image and likeness of God.

I have a saying that sticks with me, ‘All that glitters is not gold, so it is with the ways of the world the most glittering is generally the most deceptive.

When we accept Christ Jesus {Our Lord and Our Friend}, we become part of His Kingdom, which is eternal. we become ambassadors in this world. John 18 verse 36: ” ‘My Kingdom is not of this world’, said Jesus..

Even though, because of what He did on the cross, He has the keys to all that is rightfully His, at this point in time the father of lies {Satan} still is the God of this world.

It is a matter of what choices we make and in Mathew 7 verse 13 to 16 there is a choice to be made. v13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the road is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who go through it”.V14 “how narrow is the gate and difficult the road that leads to life, and few find it.

There is a danger V 15” Beware of false prophets who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravaging wolves”. V 16 “You’ll recognize them by their fruit. Are grapes gathered from thorn-bushes or figs from thistles?”

Once through the narrow gate build your foundations strong. Mathew 7 verse 24: “Therefor, everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them will be like a sensible man  who builds his house on the rock.”

The Rock we build our foundations on is Christ Jesus Himself. Your difficulties will never go totally away, but with the strong foundations, they will be less like difficulties, and more like challenges, that with the help of Our Lord and Our Friend we will come through them,

This is why Jesus tells us in Mathew 6 verse 34 “Therefor don’t worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will worry about itself, Each day has enough trouble {difficulties| of it own”.

The father of lies {Satan} mimic the things of God, because that is the way he has more of a chance to deceive people. We are back to a matter of choice and the choice is obvious, a God who loves us and wants to be Our Lord and Our Friend or a mimicker of God who we could never trust to be our friend.

We are known by our fruits and our fruits demonstrate who we serve and if we are a vessel of a God that love us and paid the price for us, we will never have a problem like those people in Mathew 7 verses  21 to 23:

“Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord! will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of My father in heaven.” V22 “On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, didn’t we prophesy in Your name, drive out demons in Your name, and do many miracles in Your name?” V23 “then I will announce to them, ‘I never knew you! Depart from Me, you  law-breakers’.”

The father of lies {Satan} can do all the mimicking he deceives himself into doing, but don’t be deceived, entering in through the right gate, building on the strong foundation, work in the fruits of the spirit and trust Our Lord and Our Friend to be with you through any of the difficulties you may have in life.

These difficulties will become challenges, that will make our lives better for the experiences.

God Bless.
