To experience the power of God today, we must be a willing vessel. God only comes where He is wanted, and a place is made for Him.

The first step to receiving His power, is to ask for forgiveness, and accept Him for the Price He paid on the cross to restore us. We are created to commune with Him, but Adam and Eve’s betrayal of not accepting God’s word, punished all who were to come into the world after them.

In our fallen sate we could never carry the power of God. God hates sin {wrongdoings} against Him and we were all born into sin.

Romans 7 verse 17  Message Bible:  “If death got the upper hand through one man’s wrongdoings, can you imagine the breathtaking recovery life makes, sovereign life, this grand setting-everything-right, that one man Jesus Christ provides?”

Romans 8 verse 2  Message Bible: “The Spirit of life in Christ, like a strong wind, has magnificently cleared the air, freeing you from a fated lifetime of brutal tyranny at the hands of sin and death.”

The Spirit of life in Christ has cleared the air, freeing us from the bondage of sin and the verse before Romans 1 verse8, now there is no condemnation.

1 John 1 verse   “This, in essence is the message we heard from Christ and are passing on to you: God is light; pure light; there’s not a trace of darkness in Him.”

As we read on in the chapter, if we walk in the light, the light of God, we also experience a shared life with one another, this comes through repentance and because of  the sacrificed blood of Jesus on the Cross, purges our sin.

Repentance, Faith and walking with commitment in that Faith, we are walking in the Light of God, and that is were we can truly experience the Power Of God.

Walking in the light following the divine leading of The Spirit of Christ, and having no fellowship with the things that oppose Him, that  is the spirit of the kingdom of this world.

We live in this world, but we are not of it. We are ambassadors of The Kingdom of God, where we have communion with it’s King, Our Lord and Our Friend, Christ Jesus.

Come let us all rededicate ourselves afresh to Our King, so we can really experience His Power at work in us.

Not by works, but through Faith alone, let us all be vessels in whom This Glorious Power will flow.
